Stem Cell Researcher, Molecular Biologist and Educator
Dr. Saba Tasneem is an Assistant Professor in the Stem Cells Lab at CEMB, University of the Punjab.
She completed both of her postgraduate degrees at CEMB under the supervision of Dr. Azra Mehmood — an M.Phil in 2012 on the role of insulin growth factor preconditioning of cord-blood derived mesenchymal stem cells in protection against hypoxic injury in vitro, and a PhD awarded in May 2023, co-supervised with Prof. Dr. S. Riazuddin.
She teaches on the M.Phil programme, contributing to CEMB 512 Review Article / Research Proposal Assignments.
