Sample collection & submission guidelines
Adhering to correct specimen handling and preservation standards ensures reliable diagnostic accuracy and legal admissibility.
- Legal Cases: Parentage analysis is conducted strictly on referral by Civil Courts, Police, or Immigration authorities on official letterhead specifying all parties and FIR/case numbers.
- Sample Collection: Fresh blood or buccal swabs, original CNICs, and recent photographs of all parties are collected in-laboratory in the presence of court representatives.
- Prenatal Samples: CVS (chorionic villi) specimens must be collected by certified medical professionals.
- Animal DNA: Fresh hair bulbs with intact roots (15–20 hairs) or fresh EDTA blood are required for feline and avian testing.
