The COMSTECH–CEMB Fellowship Programme is an initiative designed to bolster scientific capacity and promote research partnerships among young scholars from OIC member states. Through the programme, CEMB, University of the Punjab, delivers practical instruction and introduces participants to contemporary techniques and methodologies in molecular biology and biotechnology.
Within the current fellowship cohort, Mr. Ibrahim Safiyanu Darma from Nigeria and Dr. Sipping Kemegne Marius Tresor from Cameroon completed their two-month molecular biology training at CEMB, gaining hands-on instruction and developing competencies in molecular biology methods and laboratory investigation.
CEMB has also welcomed Ms. Sadia Haque Tamana from Bangladesh, who recently enrolled via the programme for two months of molecular biology research training. Director CEMB Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman presented completion certificates to the participants.
CEMB affirmed its dedication to supporting emerging scientists' professional growth through such programmes, and expressed appreciation to COMSTECH for its continued support and confidence in CEMB as a hub for advanced molecular biology instruction.
