CEMB update
The delegation, including US Consul General Lahore Stetson Sanders and University of the Punjab Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, visited the Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB-PU) on 2 September 2026.
The delegation toured state-of-the-art research facilities including stem cell research, biopharmaceutical development, and agricultural biotechnology laboratories. Director CEMB Prof. Dr. Moazur Rahman briefed visitors on the Centre's research portfolio and achievements.
The Consul General expressed appreciation for the Centre's impressive breadth of research and advanced laboratory infrastructure. The Vice Chancellor highlighted the institution's commitment to research excellence, innovation and human resource development, and emphasized expanding international academic collaborations.
